Locating the headphone jack is a problem on some of the public computers available around columns in the Knowledge Commons on the second floor (entrance floor) of the Main Orlando Campus John C. Hitt Library because the CPUs are mounted below the tabletops with the front of the unit facing towards the floor so that the cables can connect to the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. So if you can't locate the headphone jack by feel, you may need to lie down on the floor to see where it is.

Unfortunately, because the plug is so near the floor, you may find that the cord for your headphones is too short to allow you to raise your head to a comfortable position. If that is the case, use one of the computers other than those located around the columns.
