Your campus ID card is your copy card as well.

Add value with cash:

Table-top Knight Cash machines are available to add value to your card using cash. Step-by-step instructions appear on the machine's screen:

  1. Insert your ID card. Remove it when instructed to do so -- it takes just a little bit longer to recognize it than swiping a card through other readers you may have used.
  2. Press A to use cash.
  3. Insert cash using bills.
  4. If you want a receipt, be prepared to do steps 5 & 6 very closely together because the receipt step has an extremely short timer.
  5. Press D to conclude the transaction.
  6. Press C for a receipt. Times itself off after 1 second.

Add value with a credit / debit card:

Table-top Knight Cash machines are available to add value to your card using credit or debit cards. Step-by-step instructions appear on the machine's screen:

  2. Press B to use a credit or debit card.
  3. Insert your credit/debit card.
  4. Key in the amount of money to add to your ID card.
  5. If you want a receipt, be prepared to do steps 6 & 7 very closely together because the receipt step has an extremely short timer.
  6. Press D to conclude the transaction.
  7. Press C for a receipt. Times itself off after 1 second.

Add value online:

  1. Go to the UCFCard home page: http://www.ucfcard.ucf.edu/
  2. Click on the blue link in upper right corner that says: Access Your Online Account
  3. Enter your Net ID or "NID". Click OK. (There is a NID look up link on the same page)
  4. Follow the directions for transferring value from credit/debit cards. It requires a credit or debit card.

** Note: To add value only, it is not necessary to enter the Password in step 3. Just leave it blank and hit OK. Entering a password brings up account history, which is useful but not essential to the add value transaction. See the NID password reset link for those who don't know their password.
