Yes, but...

The public computers in the John C. Hitt Library have webcams and microphones built into the monitors, and Windows Movie Maker software is installed. There is a slide switch on top of the monitor to uncover the webcam. The microphone pickup is embedded next to the webcam. However, the public computer environment in the library is not particularly well-suited for recording. Either the noise from the people around you will degrade the quality of your recording, or the noise from you speaking will disturb people nearby.

A better option is to take advantage of the video editing equipment available in the Technology Commons. The equipment is popular, so you might need to make a reservation.
