Unfortunately, the nookSTUDY software is intended for personal computers, not public computers. The owner of an e-textbook can download their personal copy onto up to two (2) specific computers only.
We have been unsuccesful in downloading the nookSTUDY software to the library's public computers to see if some method could be found for students to read e-textbooks.
Library laptop computers -- students in the John C. Hitt Library can check out a library laptop at the Media Desk on the third floor and install the nookSTUDY software on the laptop to read an e-textbook. CAUTION: since e-textbooks can be read on up to two (2) computers only, downloading and accessing the textbook in this manner would count as one of the two allowed computers.
